The first one is CBD OG , by Kraft at 19% CBD and Cannatonic #4 , by Herbal Solutions, at 22% CBD. Neither one of these buds has a particularly powerful THC rating. However, I consider these to be incredible achievements. Just 14% CBD was considered really really good not that long ago. So it’s really impressive. Here there’s a real practical medical element to doing this, to getting strains that are ultra high in CBD content. So good on those particular breeders Herbal Solutions and Krafts for getting this done 19 and 22% CBD.
Hey there! Today I wanted to tell you guys some really cool super high THC and super high CBD cannabis strains, verified by high times, doing lab tests. So these are good confirmed numbers and you can get an idea of what people on the edge of the envelope of breeding are achieving nowadays.
On the next place is marijuana called Wedding Cake , by a breeder named Jungle Boys, at 29% THC. Next we’ve got Durbin Cookies , by Oasis Medical Seeds, at 29.5% THC. I think that’s fair if they round it up to 30%. Next we have Emperor Cookie Dough , by Greenwolf LA, at 31%, as well as Venom OG Kush, by Cali Kush Farms and Greenwolf LA at 31% THC.
Here’s the highest rated CBD cannabis strains
First up the lowest cannabis one is Strawberry Banana , by a breeder called Greenwolf LA, that clocks in at 28 percent THC. Now before I go any further, when you do lab testing, what they actually do is they measure the THCa and the THC, that’s on the plant at a particular moment. They combine those and that’s how they come up with how much THC the plant has in total.
Finally, the highest one is Chem Dog , by Next Harvest, at 32% THC. Now you guys will notice, that Greenwolf LA came up a few times there. When you come up a few times year over a year and they really have been coming up here over a year. In past years they had strains that were 20-22 % THC, which was crazy just a few years ago. These guys are proving, that not only do they have excellent growing techniques, but they are in possession of some top-quality genetics. Getting away from how cool all these buds are, the question is – Are they practical? And as far as that, I really don’t know. Some people might be interested in 30% THC cannabis. It’s probably not what you’d want to consume every day or regularly. Now here is something that’s a little bit more of an achievement.
