So far so good but got this whacked one sending it’s tail strait up in the air (see pics). Then found this that said I did it all wrong. http://www.amsterdammarijuanaseeds.info/how-to-position-sow-cannabis-seeds-in-soil.html
I ordered seeds from Attitude seed bank and got them within a frickin week!! Plus freebies. All 100% sprouted using the traditional soaking and paper towel method (from House of Seeds) http://www.greenhouseseeds.nl/shop/germination-instructions.html
I guess I got lucky cause some are still did what they were supposed to. Seeds are damn expensive.
What should I do? Any suggestions much appreciated.
First time poster. Thanks to all of posters for spreading the knowledge on how to grow the good herb!!
Sometimes you can see the young taproot of a cannabis seedling but the situation isn't as dire. If the root is already pointed in the right direction, it's probably going to be just fine! But if you're worried, you can cover up the root until the leaves actually make it to the surface.
For example you could tear a tiny piece off the edge of this Rapid Rooter and gently lay it on top. Or if you were in soil you could sprinkle a tiny bit of soil over the seedling. The seedling will push it off as it grows upward.
When Should I NOT Do Surgery?
The cotyledons unfurl and then the regular cannabis leaves between to grow. Here's another view of that same seedling from above only a few hours later. Even though it may have looked a bit weird at first, this seedling is completely normal and will grow just fine from now on!
This case isn't so bad because the root is already facing down, in the correct direction. Note: This seedling was just watered, but typically the Rapid Rooter should never look this wet. It should be moist but not shiny.
I’m no help. But something that stupid deserves to die and save the rest of the gene-pool.
i would like to thank everyone for the help & suggestions . what i decided to do was cut away the mesh , wash away the peat ,this freed the seedling witch i then planted with the root pointed down. this process seemed nice & gentile to me..here,s some pics . sun
i soaked the seed & put it directly into the peat no paper towel germination
She looks healthy, a little small but healthy.
You know what i found out by trail and error. I found out that separating the grass cuts from the lawn. and placing them in a little mount by the sun, that compost is execllent for Vegetation. once the grass starts turning into mush. mash. cant spell. mix it with water and add to the plants. its not strong so it wont hurt them but it works like great. Feed it to the plants once per week or once every two weeks and u will see the immense difference.
